I had a medela swing and found it good. Noisy, but I don't know how it would compare to other brands noise wise.
? Freya don't make me laugh that word makes me cringe so bad? but yeah I know what you mean with the aching hands it's tiring sitting there squeezing away? xxx
I've got the tommee tippee manual one from when I was pregnant with Bear and it used to hurt my hand too so I'd get my oh to pump it for me lol he said hes never milked a cow but he's milked a Freya lol?... I've done alot of research recently about pumps and the tommee tippee one the flange is too small for me cuz my nipples were rubbing on the inside bit and were bleeding so this time i wana get the avent one cuz you can buy bigger flanges(Every time I type this word it makes me laugh??) for it xx

If you have a sure start centre near you they loan the hospital grade pumps out for something like a fiver, for as long as you want it! Worth checking xxx
I used the Lansinoh double electric and couldn't fault it. Used it for 8 weeks and wasn't sore. Sadly I stopped using it as much and my Supply dropped hugely!

I've got an Ameda one, it's fab, in 10 minutes i manage a minimum of 3oz but usually 4-5 and it's not very loud either. I got it on sale in mothercare for £29 so not sure how much it is usually xx

Government Assistance and Breast Pump Is there any mommy's on here that used to be or is on Government Assistance? And knows if they cover breast pumps?
My stash!! I'm super pumped
Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
