My son had something similar a few weeks ago, it started on his back and continued to spread to tummy chest legs head etc..

We went to the gp and it was a viral infection, nothing to worry about as it'll go away on its own ☺️ abs it did within about a week.

It's horrible to look at dosent seem to be itching him or anything when I first saw it I was like omg what is that!!panic mode kicked in big time haha xx

My 3 year old had penicillin for the first time and came out in an identical rash. She was allergic to the penicillin. It lasted for a few days and she wasn't bothered by it, it just looked awful x

Thank you everyone I called the hospital and they told me if he's fine in himself then he should be okay but to get him in at the doctors as he needs an alternative for the tonsillitis they said because he's had the rash a few days and seems fine in himself he should be okay thanks again xxx

I would call them anyway Hun. My second son reacts like this to penicillin but my first is much more severe. Don't give him any more doses until u hv seen someone xx tonsillitis is bloody awful! Poor little thing xx big hugs mummy ur doing great xx keep us posted

Call them Hun this happened to my lo turns out it was the antibiotics I would call incase things get worse x

He is on penicillin! Thank you what shall I do ring now or leave it till the morning? He's fine in himself but obviously don't wanna leave him if it's dangerous xxx

If he's not on penicillin then would say viral rash but get him looked at anyway xx ?

That is allergy to penicillin Hun. Luckily the best case of allergy to it. Ring ur out of hours docs love xx

Could be the tonsillitis but could also be a reaction to the antibiotics in which case he needs to be seen and alternatives given xx
