Help please !!!

Okay so my son was up all night last night till about 7am this morning & has been sleep ever since. Has only woken up to eat & when I change him of course. I've tried to keep him up throughout the day today but he will not stay up !!!!! I'm afraid he is going to be up all night again tonight. I'm thinking he has his days & nights mixed up. Anybody know how to break this ??? Please help !!

Do not try to keep your baby awake. All you will get is an overtired baby who still won't sleep. It takes a few weeks for them to sort out their days and nights. But like pp said, turn the lights on during the day, dark when it's time to sleep. Eventually their little brains figure it out. Just remember, this too will pass. I thought I wouldn't survive the newborn stage and here I am, a month away from my daughter's second birthday. Keep strong!

How old? I agree with pp^. Lights and action through the day. It was super hard but for 2 nights I sat in my daughters room with her at night with only her nightlight on and talked really softly. I basically bored her back to sleeping at night lol. Good luck! Hopefully it's just a short phase.

I am really sorry. For me this was the hardest part about having a newborn. My son - he is 5 now - was also up all night and sleeping all day. The sleep deprivation sucks and it made me feel like I was going crazy so I can definitely sympathize.

With my son it took a few weeks before he would gradually sleep for longer periods at night. The best advice I got for this was to continue normal activity during the day - lights on, door bell, TV, radio, etc. - so that they get used to daytime being active and nighttime being quiet and for sleep. In the meantime I would try my best to sleep during the day when your babe is asleep.

My daughter did for the first week, she actually switched back herself! It was a couple sleepless nights but then she slept really good through the night

My boyfriend hasn’t changed ONE diaper ever and my son is 9 months old. He hasn’t fed him in about 5 months, he doesn’t bath him and hes never been left alone with him and he doesn’t even wake up during the night to help with him. He MAYBE washes the bottles at night if it’s a good day and I’m confused as to how bc I’m a woman IM supposed to do all that by myself?? lmfao ya no.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

How would you guys feel if your husband drank every night between 6 and 12 beers with children in the house. But the only time he drinks is after 7. Sometimes if he works his night job on the beach doing the tractor he comes home at midnight and starts drinking 10 beers. He doesn't get up in the morning to help with kids and is passed out on couch???? Oh and instead of pissing in a toilet when he's drinking he pisses in and old formula bottle or Gatorade bottle then pours it down the sink. But he says he not a drunk he's a good father and provides for his family. Ok but then that makes him a functioning alcoholic right? And his excuse will be he works a lot that's why he will not get up and help in the morning when he has off. No it's because you have a hang over and we're up till 3 drinking. I just don't get it. And if I say anything he gets all defensive and asks why am I starting with him. Am I wrong here is this normal and ok for him to do? He thinks it is. Oh and he has been telling me since I've been with him (almost 6 years) that he is gonna cut back and take nights off. I'm still waiting to see that happen

My son :/ I've been trying to get my son to say please for the longest time. Any time he wants anything I tell him to say please and he has never said it. Well I decided to night wean him because I can't handle him wanting to nurse all night with being so exhausted from this pregnancy. So the first time he woke up last night and I refused to give him the boob and what do I hear? "Please mama. Please." Lol, how could I say no to that?! So here I am at 7:30 nursing him for the 4th time since we went to bed :/

My son just turned 4 months and he eats a lot like 5 ounces every 2 - 3 hours is that bad ? Should I start introducing him to cereal ? He's on enfamil formula maybe mixing cereal in his milk will keep his tummy full for a longer time ? I don't want to be over feeding him , he also spits up a lot & sometimes I have a really hard time getting his gases out he randomly gets these tantrums out of nowhere because he has trapped gas & the only way he calms down is if I pick him up and walk around the house or rock him I've been giving him gas drops that the doctor prescribed but I don't think it's helping much I don't know what else to do he's really good all day & than at night he acts up and wakes up in the middle of the night too many times crying cause he's in pain , help me ladies 😳🤔🙄😑😫
