Hello mummyme, i had asperine and clexan (heparine) during my pregnacy, my baby is 10 weeks right now, and bless her super healthy...

The baby was born with a eclampsia attack unfortunately, my life was in danger, but thanks to my partner responding fast and thanks to the hospital we are fine...

Me recovering from this emergency cesaria was hard..but finally and Luckely i have all ok...

The only little thing i have left is skin rash at my eyelids...

Since you say you have this as well!! What could this be?

Can this be related to the Lupus Antigoagulant or to the Eclampsia?

I've used this special cortisona cream but the rash stains won't go away...

Oh, and yes indeed...asperine does wonders....

Awww, i'm sorry to hear that. I know that can be a pain. Ugh. Don't feel bad, i'm type 1 diabetic so it's a struggle for me at times too. But yes, I got all that testing done. Just to be on the safe side! No harm. Just go to every drs appt, you && baby should be great?.

My cousin who is pregnant now has lupus. She has really bad flare ups but her baby is doing GREAT. Don't get discouraged. Get every test done you can too for like genetics && down syndrome. Just take care of your body. You'll be considered high risk which is good && bad. You get more ultrasounds?. I'm high risk myself.

Thank you ! & yes. Next week will be the 3rd time I've gotten to see my little angel. Where as some haven't even seen their baby yet. So far baby is measuring right on track & is 1.5 in bigger than what the apps say he or she is supposed to be at 11 weeks. Hb was 163.

Iugr is interuterine growth restriction - the baby isn't growing at a proper rate - it can be mild, just something to watch.

I have a mild case of SLE - well controlled by plaquenil. My Little guy will be 9 months old tomorrow ?!! My pregnancy was awesome - I never felt better! I lasted until about 6 months after birth, and then some of my old symptoms started creeping back - fatigue, muscle pain, some mouth ulcers. Nothing bad, but it took a little bit of an emotional toll because I realized how good I should feel.

I continued on plaquenil throughout pregnancy and I am still exclusively breastfeeding with the plaquenil. (he's eating solids, but no formula). Some people don't feel comfortable breastfeeding, but he has never been sick and I felt like the benefits outweigh any very negligible hypothetical risk.

I was closely monitored during pregnancy - monthly growth scans starting at 24 weeks to check for iugr - which is common with lupus. Also weekly placenta and fluid checks starting at 7 months. Monthly blood draws for lupus. They also wanted to take him at 38 weeks - I begged to stay until 40 weeks. They let me.

But when he was born at 40

Weeks, it was obvious he hadn't gained hardly any weight in the past 5 weeks - iugr had set in. In retrospect, I shouldn't have fought so hard to go until 40 weeks. But he is fine! He gained back his birth weight in 3 days, poor starving guy, and put on a ton of weight the first month.

Congrats and good luck with your pregnancy hun! Don't worry about anything unless if there is a real reason to worry - being high risk with lupus means they just monitor you more closely - and you will have more chances to see your little one on ultrasound! ;)

Uhm lol well honestly I got diagnosed when I was 14 I believe but they ran so many test on me & it took so long for them to finally diagnose me. I had all the symptoms from severe joint pain to a blood clot. But lupus has so many symptoms that go along with it I guess they just wanted to make sure before starting treatment. But I will say if you do have it but they don't diagnose while your pregnant. You will surely be diagnosed after. Doc told me that's when the flare ups happen & usually last about two or three months. My doc has me on lovenox & baby aspirin now. Apparently aspirin works wonders because every post I've read about someone being on it has had a healthy baby. But I would ask ask ask the doc questions. Lupus is a crazy disease.

Docs have tested me for all lupus and blood disorders... But while I was pregnant do you think I should get tested not pregnant? I had my preemie daughter at barely 28 weeks due to severe IUGR. Two yrs ago. One healthy pregnancy after with aspirin. Jus thought I'd ask for some insight from you.

No. systemic lupus erythematosus is what I have. It's an autoimmune disease. I think what you have is a part of lupus too. Idk. But I'm on lovenox injections & baby aspirin. Went to get an ultrasound 3 days ago & baby was just fine & my doc says all my blood work looks good. I go back in two weeks for more blood work

I am positive lupus anticoagulant. Is that what you mean? I am 8w4d today and I can't wait to test again or do my next ultrasound to see if babies are on track. Last ultrasound was at 7w and it was fine. I am taking clexane 40 and baby aspirin.
