I don't want to spoil it, but it's basically about a doctor who was murdered, his psycho ex girlfriend, and their baby boy. The murdered mans parents go through a custody battle to get their grandson.
God it's awful. I mean, it's edited super well, and the editing on that last twist just twists a knife in your heart. I mean it's an awful story, but I watch it when I need a good cry. And then I hug my LO to me and give him lots of cuddles and kisses.
So sad, I just watched it the other day. I was squishing my little girl so hard after that, I smothered my son with kisses when he got up from his nap! Absolutely heartbreaking.
This documentary will make you hate the entire world and sob like a baby. ?? And once you see it, you can't unsee it. It needs a *serious* trigger warning before anyone watches it. Don't watch unless you want to cry. The premise of the documentary is it is made by the friend of a man who is murdered when the murdered friend's ex-girlfriend announced she was pregnant with the victim son. It's "a letter to a son about his father." It's a true story. And it's heartbreaking and upsetting. Even thinking about that documentary hurts my heart. Even just the mention of the name. It's a well done documentary, but oh man, the true story it tells is a horribly painful one. Awful, awful, awful. ???
Do NOT watch this unless you are prepared to have your heart ripped out and your eyes continually tear filled. This is the saddest movie I have ever watched in my life. My husband and even a couple of his closest guy friends have admitted to being devastated after watching it. It's filmed and edited beautifully and will have you blubbering like a baby.
It makes me angry to even think about. If you're Canadian, don't go on the dearzachary site afterwards, it'll just piss you off and make you want to hit every MP with a shovel.

Maybe keep one of your kids asleep in your lap while you watch it, PP. I had my sleeping son with me, because you just wanna hug your baby after it.
