What do people consider "showing"?

I've read many people discuss when their pregnancy starts to "show." I have a question about what's considered "showing". Are we talking real baby bump protruding from the shirt, just a difference from pre pregnancy body (even slight bloat), when maternity pants are a must?

When you're laid down, whatever is left showing is your actual bump or when stood up, breath in and that's your actual bump. Bloating sucks in or sinks when laying down, where as your uterus wouldn't move.

I consider it showing once your able to see your bump threw your shirt, dress or whatever you're wearing on top .. Once it's noticeable to others you know you're showing also when it's more round

I consider a bump being the actual uterus and baby protruding not just bloat or pudge ☺️

You can feel where your uterus is, it's pretty hard feeling. I'm always checking where mine is and how big it's feeling

When do you know it's bump and not bloating?

I can feel where my uterus is, and it hasn't moved forward to give me a baby bump. I do have bloat, since I haven't worked out in 2 months and I lost my abs. Lol

I've been considering showing when I got a baby bump and my pants no longer buttoned. A real baby bump, not bloat.
