What is considered "showing"?

Many people discuss when their pregnancy starts to "show." I have a question about what's considered "showing". Are we talking real baby bump protruding from the shirt, just a difference from pre pregnancy body (even slight bloat), when maternity pants are a must?

Well apparently I started 'showing' at like 6 weeks! ? which doesn't make sense to me but when I announced to work mates at 12w they said they had 'been on to me for weeks' which I was a bit gutted about to be honest

I consider when you have enough of a bump from baby or bloat, to have to adjust your wardrobe or but maternity clothes. Once that belly looks pregnant hey, your showing! Mine seemed to ballon quick either from bloat or muscle memory. But when im standing up you can clearly see this belly! Lol

I'll be 13 tomorrow and have been showing for almost a week. But...some probably think I'm getting fatter and others may question if I'm pregnant. Mine is no longer bloat, if it is it's more bump than bloat. I've been wearing kinda baggy shirts to hide it.

I'm not showing. My uterus hasn't even reached the front. To me I have a pooch of fat simply because I haven't worked out in 2 months.

I'll be 13 weeks on Tuesday and I'm already having to wear maternity pants if I want to wear jeans, I have outgrown all my jeans at this point except one pair that was big on me to start with. I didn't consider myself as actually showing until about a week ago and I have a bump going on enough that you can see it a little in a t shirt.
