Glucose test
I had my 1 hr glucose test yesterday and they just called me to tell me my levels were elevated and I have to go in on Wednesday for a 3hr test ? I really hope I pass this test!
Good luck to all of us! Yea 9 yrs ago with my daughter I failed the 1hr and passed the 3hr, I'm hoping for the same!
I had mine last week. My office automatically does a 2 hour. Blood draw at 1 and 2 hours after the drink to try to make it so patients don't have to do a 3 hour. I never got a call so I'm assuming I passed. But they do it so if u fail the 1 hour they can see if you pass the 2 hour or not
Thanks! I'm hoping I pass, I had to do it with my daughter 9 years ago and passed and she was still a huge baby! 9 lbs 15 oz! Currently I haven't gained any weight this pregnancy, I actually lost 15 lbs but I'm measuring a week ahead. I'm just hoping for a healthy baby ?
Mine were one off from failing so I had to do the 3 hour last week. It sucks. Mostly is just so annoying how long you have to be there. I passed tho. I'm sure you will too! They just said to watch my sugar and carb intake for the remainder of my pregnancy...which really I don't think has been that bad so far lol
I had a Spinach salad with hard boiled egg, I have to fast for the 3 hour test though.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I failed my glucose test 💔😭
Ok I need some advice!!!! I have my glucose test in the morning and my doctor told me not to eat but I'm always hungry in the am what should I eat that won't hurt me and make me fail my test 😁😁😁 SOS
Toke my glucose test yesterday and today I got my results sent to me and it was 102. What does this mean ? Do I have diabetes?
I forgot that my glucose test is tomorrow..😩😩.. Is it as bad as everyone makes it seem?
I have done it five times between my 3 pregnancies and passed the one hour every time. I always fast for 12ish hours beforehand, but every single person that I know that has tried to avoid carbs and sugar a few days before the test has failed. My logic is that you have to make sure your body is sort of used to spikes in sugar so you can tolerate the drink. I ate some cake and donuts the days leading up to the test, I called it "studying"...?
