big age gap between kids

Hey! Congrats on your rainbow baby!! I had a similar situation with my last child. He was a rainbow baby and was born while my daughter was 9 years old. They are now 12 and 3 and love each other dearly! My daughter was a wonderful help and was old enough that he didn't feel jealousy. However, I made sure to make time for her and I, even if it wasn't leaving the house; her and I have girls nights to make her feel special. She's excited for baby #3!

I'm going to be 28 and I have a 2 year old little sister. Lol she is adopted and will soon be 3 but I also have 3 brothers who are 15,13,12. My older siblings and I have always been really good with them all.

I have a sister 10 years younger (with two brothers inbetween us) and its great! We helped more with the baby, understood when mom had to spend more time in the beginning. You'll also have a built in babysitter in a few years! My little sister, now 17, is an amazing aunt and my son loves her so much! I know this baby will too!

My mom had my sister when I was 12 I was still super excited and even now we still get along great, she's 9 now. My mom also had two boys in between us. My brothers are 5 years and 7 years younger than me we all get along great and i tried to be helpful and show them things as well as be protective with them.

My daughter was 11 when we had our youngest daughter. She was thrilled and was actually ready for us to have another though. She was wonderful! She was also a great help with the baby. We just tried to make sure she was included in anything baby was doing that she wanted to do. Sure there was some jealous issues when she was a baby because there was a few things that it stopped her from doing, but we always tried to make sure her life stayed pretty normal
