It’s usually always done as the first ultrasound, you’ll be ok

It’s normal for your u/s I had it for my first pregnancy no pain or anything. I made the do one this time because I wasn’t sure on dates so the next one will probably be vaginal but I’ll be 10ish weeks so it’s up to them.

I've had a vaginal Ultrasound several times... As I was told I would never have children, I had gone for many many tests, requiring vaginal ultrasounds. Also because my uterus is tilted back, they would do vaginal during early pregnancy to get a better look. It has never hurt and I've never had a problem with it. I wouldn't worry, it's painless. I had a transvaginal ultrasound at 10 weeks and I didn’t mind it; there was no discomfort at all when my doctor checked on the baby, the heartbeat and my ovaries. All that really mattered was that I got to see my bubba for the first time ever. ? The only thing that did slightly worry me was when I went home and I started to spot a little brownish color, BUT it cleared up and it could have just been from the PAP smear that I had to do as well before the ultrasound. Besides that, it was a good experience.
