2nd time...
Well I guess I have to accept that I failed my 3 hour by one point and they are sending me to a diabetes educator soon. I had gestational diabetes with my second pregnancy last time, but I failed the one hour so bad I never had to take the 3 hour, and I ended up having to be on 2 different types of insulin. What I'm wondering, is if since I only barely failed this time, do you think that's an indication I might just be able to control it with diet alone, or do you think it's just because I was tested so early this time (only 15 weeks now) that it just hasn't gotten as bad yet? Any thoughts?
They say it's worse with each pregnancy. I'm in the same boat...not diagnosed yet, but I just found out I'm pregnant so I've started the diet and exercise routine.
Last pregnancy I failed the test by 1 point on fasting and was able to stay diet controlled. Hoping for the same this time. The hospital, tests, and monitoring is so stressful and we all know that stress messes up numbers too.
