Getting crumbs on my baby!

Getting crumbs on my baby!

Sometimes I wanna slap my husband in his dumb head. I had him hold the baby for a few minutes so I could use the bathroom, and I come down and he's eating his sandwich with one hand, holding her with the other and dropping crumbs all over her. I was like wth you couldn't wait to stuff your face like two minutes? Then he looks all surprised and just brushes her off. Like no big deal. I swear if I see him drop food on her then lick it off, I'm gonna scream.

I also eat over my lo. If I didn't I wouldn't be able to eat lol, he's always hurgry when I am, we eat together & I spill on him often. Chili, spaghetti, bread crumbs, salad.. you name it, its probably been on him. Instead of getting upset maybe just tell him not to eat hot food while holding her, but I'd hope he'd care more about his child than his dog... I'm sure he wouldnt do something to harm her, crumbs won't hurt her :) trust him a lil more, that's how dads learn to be dads.. imhp

My DD is always hungry when I need to eat and since she's breastfed, we eat together. I eat over her all the time. Dinner, snacks, hot coffee ?. If it's something liquid I'll lay a cloth diaper over her first, but otherwise, she's crumby.

Haha! I wasn't judging anybody, my husband can just be a ridiculous mess though! He hasn't washed the baby ever, and hasn't even helped me since she was like 3 weeks old. I remember he spilled soup on our chihuahua once and then tried to deny it! Nope, I don't trust him to eat and hold her yet lol.

I actually made a comment the other night to DH about how much food is dropped on breastfed babies heads. I don't eat anything hot over DS's head, but I've definitely dropped crumbs, noodles, jelly, mayo, droplets of water, and probably a few other things on him while he was nursing and I was eating. Good thing babies are washable!

I'm guilty of eating over my baby all the time. If I don't do it then I'll never eat any food all day. Lol sometimes as soon as I'm going to eat dinner she starts crying and also gets hungry so I have to multitask.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

Dd was hysterical when he left

Dd was hysterical when he left And it broke my heart. Her dad dropped her off tonight from his weekend and she wouldn't let go of him. He made no effort to help and I had no idea she was that strong. I had to peel her off him as she tried her best to hold on and she cried and screamed. He left and she just kept crying for him. Changed her diaper (he dropped her with it leaked through her pants) she was still crying for him. Tears streaming screaming DaDa over and over. I was crying too. I hate seeing her that upset. 5 - 10 min after he left when I was cuddling her and comforting her she finally stopped crying. It was probably 30 - 40 min after he dropped her off that she was finally normal and not clingy.
