Di/Di Growth
Okay, so I'm 34 weeks today with di/di twins. They have been growing marvelously, until what appears to be now. Last week I was hospitalized for ptl, and later in the week released to home bedrest. While in the hospital they did an ultrasound and Baby A weighed 4lbs 14ozs and Baby B weighed 5lbs 13ozs. B has always been bigger than A. I also know that these weights could be off by a pound or more. That's not my concern. Today I had a follow-up ultrasound, and Baby A weighed 5lbs 1oz & Baby B weighed 5lbs 14ozs! A literally gained only 3ozs in a week & B literally gained only 1oz in a week! I was stunned. I called my doctor & she said we would talk more at my appointment tomorrow, but she wasn't concerned because of where they land on the growth chart percentage wise. So, is this normal? Am I crazy and overreacting, or should I dig a little deeper? Has anyone else experienced this sudden drastic slow growth? Up until now they have consistently gained about half a pound a week. Thanks ladies! I really appreciate it. Normally I don't get ultrasounds that close together. My ultrasound yesterday was scheduled a few weeks before I went into ptl. Today my OB reiterated about how pleased she was with the ultrasound report, and how great the twins looked. She thinks that both of them will be over 6lbs at delivery if I make it to their eviction date!
My office wouldn’t do growth measurements more than every two weeks on di/di exactly because of this - they said the measurements were a guess at best and not always accurate. The potential for inaccuracy or differences in technique coupled with minimal growth in a week just set you up to be concerned when the numbers don’t line up.
I wouldn’t worry. They’re both great sizes, plus growth slows down at the end as space gets tighter.

Hi
I am into my 15 week now
But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though
What should i do i am very confused
Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec
Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
