Team Green, thats exciting. If I already had atleast one if each gender I would be Team Green too. Thats also pretty cool that your the first in your family to have Twins ?

I have twin brother & sister, twins cousins, and twin uncles lol & im sure theres more down the line somewhere. But it was still very shocking to see TWO babies on that Ultrasound machine! And my family will be very surprised too lol. Looking for a fun way to tell everyone. This Twin thing is an interesting Journey so far & I know it only gets better. I agree that both of us being due with twins near one another is pretty neat :) I had read the same thing online about some identicals being di/di. I think that is super neat. There is so much to learn about twins. Twins do not run in my family. We are the first, so I figure we have a 50/50 shot either way, lol. We are team green so we will wait until their bday to see what we find out :) Good luck with all of your tests!

Well I seen in the Twins group that if the egg split within a small time frame that both eggs could end up having their own sac but being identical twins. Its happened as Moms with “di/di” twins thought their kids looked identical & had them tested & they infact were. But throughout the pregnancy both had their own sac. Im pretty sure my Twins are actually di/di because Twins run in my family. Having Identical Twins is not hereditary.

But anyways :) im excited!!! Everything is going really good. Had all the blood tests they could give me on Thursday so I will get my results Monday or Tuesday.

@PilotWife....so even if they're in seperate sacks that can change and then the twin type would be reclassified? Wow! Talk about a mind blower! Still so much to learn :) I guess as Moms there always is though! Oh & I turned 13 weeks yesterday, so our edd's are close. I'm still shocked as well. Sometimes I think I dreamed the whole thing & then I look at the fridge & see their ultrasound & I'm like well no I didn't. I'm pretty excited to be on this journey.

New to this Twin thing as well! lol Im 13 weeks and still cant believe I have TWO babies in there! I also have an 11 year old and a 11 Month old ? both Girls. So im hoping for atleast one of these babies to be a Boy ? Assuming their di/di for now because their in seperate sacs. Going to have 3 under 2.

@wendy.....I completely understand. My youngest is 16 months old. She won't have turned 2 yet when the twins arrive. There's 4 years bt my ds and odd and another 4 years between odd & ydd. So having 3 this close is going to be a brand new experience for me too!

@emily...that's awesome! Thanks so much for responding! I will be 12 weeks tomorrow so there's still a long way to go. I will be having a c-section because I've had 3 already. Our twins are di/di so I guess it's natural to assume they are fraternal, but I did read there's still an almost 40% chance that they're identical. Have you heard of this before? I guess we will find out on their bday, we're team green :)

@wendy...yay! We are on the preggo twin train together! I will be 12 weeks tomorrow so we are still pretty close. Did they say if your twins were mono/mono, mono/di, or di/di? I think I got all of the different types. I'm still learning, lol. Happy pregnancy!

I just found out yesterday I'm having twins! I'm 8 weeks:)

I had twins my first pregnancy! Fraternal girls.

Found out at 6 weeks that there were two babies, delivered them via c section at 37+1, c section due to baby A being breech from 16 weeks until 37+1, she literally never moved positions. they're 4 1/2 years old now.
