I just found out today I have a small one... according to the doctor the size of a finger nail... he did tell me no sex or exercise until it resolves.. the only reason he said that is because if my body wants to miscarriage it will but sex or exercise will make it happen quicker, he said it's more for my sanity that if I were to do either and then have bleeding and lose the baby I'd beat myself up thinking I caused it... I have another sonogram in 3 weeks to see how everything is progressing.. just keeping positive thoughts for the next 3 weeks

Hmmm I have one that is getting smaller but the doc didn’t tell me no sex... Ugh and here I was planning for tonight!

I have one. Found out at 5 weeks. I’m just over 8 now and it’s still there but very tiny now. No sex until it’s gone

Goodness. I would have loved for more clarification from my doctor. I probably need to call and get more details. I guess it can just depend on where it is and how big it is.

I have one and I’m on pelvic rest! No sex no vacuuming no bending no lifting and minimal mobility! I guess mine is pretty big :( I’ve been bleeding for 5 days now and just found out yesterday what it was!

I have one and Dr just put me on bed rest yesterday for it. It’s affecting 25% of the pregnancy. They basically told me if I keep doing too much It can grow and push the baby out. And if I can do bed rest for a couple-few weeks my body will absorb the blood. I had a bleed yesterday.

I have one and was just told no sex no extra strenuous activity I’m 9w3d , I lift all day at work 100+ pounds of dead weight he didn’t see a problem with continuing work.

I see. They didn’t tell me not to lift anything over 10 pounds tho. I have a 1 year old and he’s 20 pounds and obviously can’t really avoid picking him up.

My husband is on jury duty on a trial for 3 weeks from 8-5 everyday so it’s going to be a little difficult for me to be on any sort of rest but I didn’t play softball tonight and I plan on resting and not working out for the three weeks my husband is on JD.

My next apt isn’t until May 3 and all the nurse said was to call if I had any bleeding but other than that not to worry

I had 2 sch at 6 and 8w. Doc put me on pelvic test and told me not to lift anything more than 10lbs for about 6w. It absorbed and all was fine.

I put myself on pelvic rest because I have one and I have had one in the past and know what needs to be done. I haven't seen my doctor yet.

My doctor put my on vaginal rest for other reasons. But said no sex and no working out. She told me I could walk but that’s about it.

But it’s always best to ask your doctor specifically. :)
