@mamma it's called wonderweeks. It's like $3 I think. I think it's definitely interesting but not sure in my own experience that I absolutely needed it.

We formula feed so thankfully I don't have to cut out any foods haha! So far this leap hasn't been too bad besides him being a little bit more fussy when he's tired but he goes down for a nap so easy that I can't even call that a problem! ?

Oh man. I'm day one of this leap. I'm trying to cut down on my sweets intake, but maybe this isn't a good week to worry about that.

Fourth leap starts at 19 weeks, but the fussy week starts around week 14-15.

Leap refers to the book The Wonder Weeks. There is also an app. Every baby goes through 10 leaps before they hit 20 months. A leap is just a phase where they start to learn new things, and skills. For example, week 12 baby is supposed to start using both hands to grab things, they can see better and follow objects better, not so wobbly anymore, has conversations are just a few to name. At the beginning of each phase or "leap" they are super fussy or clingy, restless sleeping, loss of appetite, etc. That's because everything is changing around them and they are pretty much scared and trying to cope. Its actually a very good book! I'd reccomend it. I'm a FTM too. Learning so much!!!

My son has been on a nap strike lately so maybe that's it. It's like as soon as he starts taking good naps again he has another leap/growth spurt! At least he still sleeps through the night!

Roman used to sleep in until 10:30am (meaning I did too) but only took one hour long nap during the day, was awake the rest and then would go to bed at 7:30, wake up at 3 for a bottle and then at 6 for a bottle and then sleep till 10:30am. I got used to that REAL quick. Loved it. Lol

Now he barely went to sleep at 7:30 (had to fall asleep in my bed and then transfer him to bassinet once he was good and asleep) usually he falls asleep in seconds in his bassinet and sleeps there. And he took 4 naps today! Each lasting about 45 minutes - an hour. Needless to say our rough schedule is really crazy now ?.

This too shall pass! ? in the meantime I'll enjoy the extra cuddles ?

This leap has been the WORST!! I was just like oh we must be almost done it, then checked the app and nope....still 24 more days. Bennett has been super fussy, the worst at breastfeeding, and waking up at the crack of dawn. It's a good thing they are cute ?

Oh no!! I better get to reading my book!! She already went through the 3rd leap a few days ago. Ugh. Sounds like it's gonna be a tough one!

Roman usually loves to be alone or on his pillow next to me on the couch but he wants to be in my lap!

He is actually snapping better though! And he slept a full 12 hours last night for the first time ever! But he is WAY more fussy and irritable than usual.

We have 28 days left and Veer has been irritable and so moody lol he's sleeping worse than ever and we can't wait for it to end!!! Until then pour me some coffee ??

We have 27 days left. So far it isn't TOO bad, but I don't want to jinx it haha. He always likes to be held anyways, so that's nothing new. He seems a little more restless when he sleeps, like he tosses and turns more and he's always been a "catnapper", so hopefully that'll get better after this leap. Good luck to you lol ???
