Changed sleeping patterns
Ro used to have a very specific sleep schedule. He would wake up, eat, get a diaper change, and then easily go back down for a nap. And then I would have to wake him up 2 hours later to eat and get changed again and this would be the pattern all day.
He's currently fed (3.5 oz of mix formula and breast milk) he's been changed, and was rocked to sleep and then I transferred him to the bassinet and he woke up and is fussing. Not crying just making mad little noises that will turn into a cry eventually lol.
I'm not sure what else to do. It's 1:30a and we're both tired ?
Poor guy! He may just need more stimulation, I hate when my son is so sleepy but will not sleep! I would try the changing before feeding unless he is a baby that goes #2 right after he eats lol I let my son sleep as much as he wants and during his awake times I try to be around, talking to him (which he loves) and tummy time. I tried keeping him up during the day more and that made nighttime worse because he was overtired. Hope he is sleeping better!
Exactly what kat said.
He wants to eat all day and I mostly pump and bottle feed so when he hits about 5-6 oz I also cut him off. He's exhausted and I can tell that but he just won't fall asleep unless he's on my chest (which I don't mind) he usually will transfer really well to his bassinet once he falls asleep.
It's like he's fighting it. No hunger cues (he roots and sucks hands when he's hungry). He just cries and his eyes get heavy but he keeps popping them open right before he falls asleep.
Poor little guy. He did better tonight. (It's 10pm here) and he just woke up to eat. During the day I have started doing longer tummy time and that wears him out and he falls right asleep haha. I think he's just getting more active and needs more stimulation.
My son will be a month old in a few days and he's started this also. It's like he's exhausted and grumpy. It's obvious he's tired but for some reason he wants to be up all day eating. Once he hits 6 oz in an hour I have to kinda cut him off because then he gets a tummy ache from just wanting to chow for hours on end. Yesterday he was up from 9 am till almost 3!!! He would doze off for only a tiny Cat nap and then straight back up. It has to be some sort of growth spurt or leap.
I would try to embrace him being awake during the day, so he might sleep even better/longer at night. Since he is crying though and not just alert and awake he is definitely trying to tell you he wants something and it's probably still hungry, does he give pretty usual hunger cues?
He finally went down for a nap. And he is out cold. Poor LO. he's just exhausted ?
I had to breastfeed him and then lay with him for about 20 minutes before he finally went down.
To all the mommys out there! When did your baby stop waking up for night feedings and did you have to sleep train them to do so or did they just eventually stop waking up to eat! My son eats more at night than during the day and this mommy is TIRED!
Baby sleep
Now to get stoned and watch scary movies while eating cereal 😊😊
Well deserved 👌🏽
Is it normal for an 18 month old sleeping patterns to drastically change. He goes to bed around 1030, he used to wake up around 6 or 7 am now he sleeps until around 12.. . Is he going thru a growth spurt? Should I wake him or let him sleep thru it??

How do I get myself up at the crack of dawn??? Lol I want to wake up and have time to myself in the morning, maybe take a dog running(trade off days with the big guys). Plus it’s the most peaceful time in the house. I’ve never been a morning person. I even worked evenings jobs (when I was you younger) mostly due to me not being able to wake up early. Lol. Annnnd wanting to stay out and party. That’s not the case anymore. Not out partying.
I know the heat can make me exhausted, but I usually ge...
My baby is like this as well. I'd guess it's a growth spurt or something. I try to put him in different positions, sing to him, rock him, feed him again and eventually he'll fall asleep. It's exhausting, but remember it's not forever :)
