Excited to breast feed again?!
Excited to breast feed again?!
Am I the only one ?? This will be my third and I am so excited to breast feed again, the bond I built with my second daughter because of it is amazing. I plan on sticking it out this time only went 8weeks last time because I returned to work and didn't think id have time to pump. This time I'm sticking to it ! Who else is excited ??

I'm so excited! I only made it to 3 months the first time due to my lack of knowledge and her pediatrician messing me up. Never listen to a man about bfing! And jeanie6 yes you can be sore at first but it shouldn't last more than a week. Its really not that difficult to get through just make sure you have nipple butter, nipple shields (which they will provide at the hospital), and a proper fitted bra (:

Jeanne06, I have implants and have bf all three of my kids. It only hurts for about two weeks and then your nipples heal and it doesn't hurt at all. Good luck :-)

I am hoping to breastfeed with this one. With my first it was difficult because I have inverted nipples.

My son is 25 months and still nursing. I am hoping to tandem nurse him and the new baby.

I am hoping to tandem feed. My girl is 21 months and still feeding. I've had a couple of miscarriages this year and both times she could tell my milk changed . . Haven't noticed a difference yet (only 4 weeks ha)

I'm looking forward to it too. My daughter weaned at 20 months last year. We have such a wonderful relationship and I believe that our nursing relationship really contributed to it.

I had so much trouble nursing my 1st, that I'm actually not looking forward to it this time. That said, I don't want to give up before I give it a shot. It's just going to be a LOT of work, and I will also have a 22 month old.

Me! I was only able to breastfeed my son for 3 months. Hoping to breastfeed this baby for a year at least!

Me too! I breast fed my son until he was 16 months and I loved it!

I'm sure I will when the time comes but I just weaned my toddler two months ago and I am loving the freedom! I was really done and am welcoming this break. The bond is undeniable and I'm trying to remind myself that nursing a newborn is a lot easier then nursing a 30 pound toddler with teeth! Don't get me wrong I loved nursing her for as long as I did but I'm glad I'll have close to a year off before new baby arrives.

So this will be my first child. Stupid question: Doesn't it hurt? My mom tried it and said it was too painful so she stopped. Also, I have implants and not entirely sure it would be safe. Please advised.

I do it will be 12 yrs since my daughter when this baby comes. I never had an issues such as latching on or sore nipple with her praying this one will be as easy. An praying I can go longer then I did with my DD

I am too! This will be 2nd. I found that nursing my daughter created a very strong bond. I nursed until 15 months. I was ready to stop when we did.
