Surrogacy So I've started the process to become a surrogate. I find out tomorrow if I've passed step 1!

It definitely can be a long process. I first started the process about a year ago and we did the transfer January 22. I’m now 8w1d! It’s been an amazing experience so far and the intended parents are so sweet and deserving of this little bundle. Good luck with everything!!!

Congrats! I am currently a gestational surrogate as well! It is definitely a very long, slow process! I first applied in June 2017 and finally just had the embryo transfer on January 31st! Good luck with everything! Feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

Waiting on one more record to come in. It's the most important one that determines my eligibility (my daughter's birth records). So far though so good. So far it's been a long process already lol

Soo the phone conversation took 2 hours!! Next step is getting my pregnancy/ delivery medical records released!

I wish i could do it but my husband and his dad are so werid and my father in law think even thou i will now its not mine thinks its mine cuz he or she eats from me and its inside my womb i really wish i could help ladies that cant cuz thank god my pregnancy are soo smooth since begining to end thank god and i have them vaginal with no complications.

That is beyond exciting.

I hate saying this but I'm so envious. If I didn't have high risk pregnancies I so would. And keep us all in the loop. I would love to hear all the updates.

This is awesome. I'm so happy for you! I wanted to do this so bad but my last pregnancy took a toll on me and made my easily manageable anxiety severe. I know being mentally healthy is a big part of being a surrogate. I can't wait to see an update as to what they say. How exciting!

I have thought about it. But I don’t know if I would qualify.

I'm motivated by the fact that I do enjoy the pregnancy process but I don't want to bring another baby.

I feel like it's a wss I can help others have what I have and love so much (biological children)

And the amount would help pay off student loans so it would give my family more financial security

So they reviewed my application and now are going to do a phone call to go over everything. Our only hold up would be that I'm still bf and would need to stop to start the actual procress of trying to get pregnant

Awesome! I recommend joining “Surrogates and Intended Parents” group on FB. It’s basically the R&R of the surrogacy world but it’s been VERY helpful for me.

1-18: phone interview ?

Sent in for medical release to be reviewed. Could take 2 wks.

1-26: they have reviewed partial records, I was questioned about the borderline ppd i experienced with my daughter. Hopefully it isn't an issue

1-31: this is a very SLLOOOWWW painful processes. Just waiting on one more record to go through

2-14: I got approval by an IVF Dr to move forward with the processes!

2-19: started the background check and started initial contracts!

2-22: background checks cleared

2-23: matching process started
