So my mil's birthday is in December. Although she drives me effing crazy, I love giving good gifts. It's going to be her 60th so it's a big one. I'd like something that's special and unique. So help lol
For my MIL's 60th and her 70th we got her new TVs. The most recent one was a few months ago and the whole set up with a new 75 inch TV, entertainment unit and new receiver, plus apple TV, cost us over 10K. She's happy, lol.
Most people by that age have everything they need or want, what's nice is experiences like concert tickets or a weekend getaway. A great family photo is usually appreciated or if you really cant decide a nice flower arrangement is a good go to.

I've always thought that those big framed (not really pictures) but documents of what things were the year she was born are kind of cool. It could say like the price of milk, bread, current events etc.
Idk, I feel like pics of the kids is so cliche. That's nice for any other bday but 60 is kinda a big one. That being said, I don't have any ideas. Lol. My mil just celebrated her 65th and I got her a really nice margarita machine along with some fancy margarita glasses and some booze ?. She had been hinting at wanting a margarita machine for some time though. Is there anything u can think of that she mentioned wanting/needing? We threw my husbands grandma a big surprise bash for her 80th. Would she maybe like a party?
We always do a family photo or a photo of the kids in a frame.. It being her 60th idk if thats the best buttttt we're also broke lol so our families are lucky to get anything ?
As my dad would say, get her a new broomstick ??? (he used to say this about my nanna every hallowe'en)

Have a picture of your kids framed or have Iva done for her with all her kids and grandkids
Try to arrange a family photo shoot so she can have some new pictures of the whole family

It depends on how much you wanna spend....people that age usually prefer something more personal and heartfelt. A small trip with all the kids/grandkids?
Does she have any special hobbies or collect something? Does she like to travel? Does she have a special memory with your family from the past that you could get something reminiscent (like you all went to Disney together or even just a memorable trip to the park)? Just thinking how i would think for my mil... good luck!
