Mild trigger warning... or something
Omg, you're so strong! When I had DS, the Dr had to reach inside once just to make sure no piece of the placenta was left. (My cord had also detached but the placenta got out in what we thought was one piece when another small piece got out like 30 min later. Hence the digging to make sure it was the last piece). And it was more painful than pushing my baby out!
I'm being discharged right on time n thank God. They say I should be out of the scary zone
They're still worried about infection but they did an ultrasound and it seems clear. I've been watched more carefully. Heck, didn't let me off the labouring floor for 7 hours instead of 2
Kinda the same thing happened to me.
It's called a retained placenta. I hemorrhaged bad. She literally stuck her entire arm inside of me and ripped the rest of the placenta out. I'm hoping it doesn't happen again with this next labor. It was pretty traumatic. I had the epidural but I could still feel it. ?
Omg, I feel your pain. I bled a lot, so my OB did a uterine sweep to make sure no placenta buts we're still inside. I was totally unmedicated. I resisted the urge to kick him in the face, barely.
