My MIL is getting nothing from me.

I'm not sure what to get my Mom yet ??‍♀️ maybe a gift card to a fabric store to go along with the sewing machine my siblings and I bought her last year.

I don't talk to my mom and I don't like my mil much so this will be an easy holiday for me. Happy Early Mothers Day ladies!!

I can't even mastermind anything for my MIL ?

My MIL asked my husband to make something for her. He welds and she needs something (honestly I don't really understand what it is). She knows we are on a budget but the metal required to do this gift isn't cheep.

I'm annoyed. I get asking for something you want but to request it less than a week in advance and assume we have that kind of money laying around... kinda rude.

My mother's day gift went out the window when my puppy was diagnosed with parvo on Monday.

Blessed she's pulling through but holy ? the meds are not cheep.

lol it happens like that sometimes. Thankfully my MIL never asks for anything. But this year I'm letting the kids decorate tiny flower pots for her and put a little fake flower in it. I also saw a really cute bracelet that can be personalized and I'm putting the nickname the kids call her on it. Mind you it's all coming late as hell but oh well.

I'm making crayon art for all of the mother's on my SO's side and one for my mom. ( It's where you melt crayons on a canvas. I did silhouettes of people in there lives (SO's sister has a silhouette of the children- her two children and our son, my mom has one of a little boy on a tree swing- her only grand baby so far) etc. They are really easy, pretty cheap, very personal/ original, andddd it's relaxing to do mindless crafts sometimes:)

I made my mom picture coasters of me and her and her grandkids. Super easy! And it was about $5 to make them. Look on pinterest. She's gonna love them!

All you ladies are making all these cute little stuff for your mom or mils and I'm just here planing on where to go buy them something tomorrow ?

From Dd my mom is getting a brown regular old flower pot with dd's foot prints in the shape of a butterfly with a pretty flower. I'm going to write the date on it also.

@mama same here lol. My sister and I went half and half on a new dinning set for our mom and for MIL I'm going to the mall tomorrow to buy her a mk purse or a watch. No lie I was thinking of getting her some type of Botox lol or lip injections since she was talking about it the other day ??

I love my mom but I'm completely broke this year. So, being she's Hispanic I congratulated her yesterday and handed her 50 cents, which will cover two items from the 25 cent machines ?? No joke, she laughed, I laughed, and when I get the opportunity I'll take her out.

Eta: Dang, I just read the comments and now I feel bad about my gift. I could of just made something off Pinterest ?

I never do big gifts for Mother's Day. We celebrate on the 10th and I just got her some see's candies with a Mother's Day balloon attached. We took her to dinner and that's it.
