you might be nesting if...
So what's the weirdest thing you've done because of nesting?
I've become obsessed with bins for organizing. Closets, pantry, under the sink, dressers. Lol. Ive also told hubby to fire cleaning lady. She only comes on Fridays for the bathrooms and the floors and hasn't been doing a good job for awhile but I've just had enough knowing I can do much better.
Today I washed my walls and baseboards with murphys oil soap. Also been trying to clean all the little odd things we don't think about often, like the back of the couch and refrigerator, the fans, lamp shades. Even cleaned some of the window seals although we are getting new windows installed next week so I will probably just have to redo it all, ugh.
Cleaned daughters room/closet over and over again. Made sure shed was cleaned (handed this to hubby) organized for our septic to be pumped, bought a new washing machine (ours broke), organized random parts if the house. Need to go through sons closet and my closet and the last filing cabinet (had 3, now down to one box and one file cabinet) to rid all OLD paperwork to burn. Ya we live in the country. Bonfire time.
All the light bulbs are checked! Lol
I portioned the dog food into individual portions. The whole 15lbs bag. And we have a Shih Tzu - there are a lot of ziplock bags now.
Hubby didn't even say anything. Or maybe he did. I was too focused on making the portions even. And we normally don't even measure out his food - just eyeballing it.
Kitchen is my project for tomorrow.
I REALLY wish I would get the "nesting" urge but I haven't 😩 39 weeks tomorrow and still haven't gotten everything organized
I have seen ALOT of posts where women are telling other women to kick out their SO or husbands knowing damn well this woman is a stay at home mom with no income. I mean she can leave or go to a shelter or she can kick him out to where he is not obligated to pay for rent or utilities once he's gone and she will either be evicted or left without running water or heat. However if women have a nest egg or their own income they would be prepared for this type of thing. THIS POST IS STRICTLY STATING T...
I think I'm starting to hit that "nesting" phase of the pregnancy. Because I'm doing so much rearranging, and spring cleaning of our place like crazy. But if course, it doesn't all happen at once. Since being almost 9 months pregnant takes a serious toll on me. I get exhausted so quickly, and have honestly barely any energy. But I keep on pushing through it, and keep on going strong. But so far I've gotten the living room looking like I want it, and even our bedroom. But got alot more to do and ...

Skylar’s baby nest just arrived 😍 I’ve heard good things about this and I can’t wait to see if she will sleep good in it. 2 more weeks until she gets here 😩
Ok ladies since the doc gave me the news of such an early c section yesterday I have went into complete and full nesting mode. I have no idea how much of each a baby needs. I know it's a lot but my husband is asking and I'm like idk I think we have enough blankets ect, ect... Here is my list... I know we need a lot and some are a given like diapers, wipes, lotions, soaps and things like that but you can still give me an idea of how many we need. Thanks in advance!!
