I walk my DD to school everyday (plus pushing 30 lb 3yr old) so I get 1 mile a day which is awesome. I get 2 days a week at the gym doing strength training. I try to do weekend water exercise class too. I might skip 1 week of gym and then only go two times. Luckily I am pretty active everyday so I'm not that far behind when I get back in the gym. I hate how I feel fine while exercising but then pay the price of aches for the next two days. Definitely not positive reinforcement lol. I do see that I am in better shape than with 1 & 2 baby.
So Tired...I still work out 3 times a wk with weights, try to fit in 2 prenatal yoga classes and bike ride my kids to school everyday...somedays are harder than others, but trying to keep up as much as i can with my excercise
It's so much easier for me to get exercise now that it's spring! I'm always with my 2 year old so I can take him to the beach for a bike ride and chase him around in the sand for a while, go swimming at the pool, and go for walks that don't feel like forced exercise. I try to get out and get some light exercise every day, and sometimes do yoga in my house too
I'm a Zumba instructor. I have a pretty high intensity class and still doing 5 a week. Getting a little slower some days but still going strong. My morning classes are much easier than night ones.
I walk about 2 miles 2-3 times a week and have yoga once a week. It is getting really hard, and my sciatica is concerning my dr about the walking. She suggested water exercise, but we don't have access to a pool currently.
I'm only walking (maybe 2-3 times a week) and then prenatal yoga class on the weekend. Anyone wanna be my accountability buddy?? I need more motivation
I still lift but mainly my upper body. I have really bad sciatic pain in my right buttock and it has affected most ofnmy leg work outz. So my cardio has also been toned down because of this. I walk 5 - 6 times a week still. But its a slow shuffling awkward type of walk. I try to aim for 30 mins.
Doing well I think. 5 days a week I go to the gym for 1.5hrs (my toddler enjoys the kiddie care there). Weekends is family walks, plus my work shifts are all lifting
Surprisingly I'm still going strong. 5 days a week and walking on the weekends. I have bad sciatic nerve pain if I don't work out so I'm staying consistent and I've been feeling great. Lots of weight lifting, lower body work outs and stretching....lots of stretching. I'm gaining a pound a week now so I'm hoping all this pays off after the baby is born. Kudos to everyone staying active in some way!
@Ncantu you are able to do a leg work out with your sciatic pain? My sciatic is out of control painful but oddly the one thing I haven't tried was stretching it out. I think that may be the thing I need to do to alleviate this.
@Ziggy yeah, with my second since he was so low it triggered it and even though I'm carrying high this time..I still have the pain. It doesn't go away completely but it's so much more bare able. I stretch a lot throughout the day and in between work outs to make sure it doesn't stiff up. I absolutely have to do lower body work outs. Squats, deadlifts, sumo squats and step ups are my favorite. Kills the back but I bought a supportive belly band to help with that part lol My chiropractor from my last pregnancy told me to stretch as much as possible to help with the pain

I also just bought a pillow wedge for my belly and one of those pillows to help with hip/sciatic nerve pain so I'm hoping they help.

Shaving my legs is a workout on its own? I find walking good though?

So far I'm walking 4-5 days out of the week.

Still lifting weights and doing cardio 5-6 times a week! It really has helped me with cravings and getting my mind off things ?
