measuring ahead Anyone else measuring ahead?

The most accurate time to predict due date is 8-12 weeks, so they almost never change it after that. I always measure two weeks ahead but had a small baby past my due date, so I don't put much stock in it

My tummy measured 2 weeks behind but my ultrasound measures 2 weeks ahead so a 4 week difference lol

I did with my first i measured a head on time then late

Ultrasound wise, we're right on track.

Fundal height- I measured 29 weeks today & I'm 26 weeks pregnant.

I'm 32+4 and measuring 37.5 no one seem concerned about how many weeks ahead I am measuring so I wouldn't worry. I've a consultant appointment next week to get my c section date so will ask her then

Having twins and last they checked, uterus-wise at 26 weeks we measured 27 weeks! Curious to see what it will be at my next appointment ?

I went 9 days late with my big baby ? and they won't induce me

@jenny I wouldn't worry too much. Part of the reason they don't change the due date after the initial scan is because babies come in all different sizes especially if we as parents happen to be large or small ourselves. You may have a 5 pound baby where as I may end up with a 8 pound or larger baby since I am so ahead.

Since 20 weeks I've been measuring 2 weeks ahead so they told me to be have my bags packed for mid May. I went into labor early with my first so they assume I'll go early this time too. The waiting / guessing game is awful lol

Sure am. Baby boy is looking to be a tank. Due 6/16, measuring 5/31 as of my scan last week

My original due date was July 2, but now my due date is June 25..

I am 27 weeks on Friday, went in today and I'm measuring 33 weeks. My second daughter was born at 36 and 5 and weighed 8 11. So this being a boy he says will be another big one. He will either manually induce me or medically induce me at about 37 weeks to avoid c section.

Fundal height, yes. Ultrasound, no. But they think this one will be another big one... why, I have no clue! I suspect because it's a new OB office, so they are going off my oldest's weight. He was 10lbs 6oz! But then it went...

DD#1 7lbs 3oz

DS#2 8lbs 3oz

So really I think it's a toss up for DD#2 lol.

Last week(27w) I was measuring way ahead. My tummy measurement was 29cm. Weight 1,5 kg instead of 850gr(according to the chart. We'll see how I'm doing the next appointment.

I've been measuring ahead all my pregnancy (another big baby too lol) but my next appointment is Tuesday so I'm curious to see what she says. Plus my weight gain has been out of control which really sucks because that's only going to contribute to a big baby ? let's home my glucose test passes too on Tuesday!

Did they change your due date since your measuring ahead?

@shia my midwife says the same thing, but because my son was 10lb 3oz...they're thinking odds are she'll follow suit

At my 24 week check I was measuring 26 weeks. I'm tall though and my partner is pretty tall so I'm pretty sure that's why.

Measuring just over 2cm ahead. So a bit over 2 weeks ahead also

I'm 28 weeks and measuring 30 weeks by ultrasound, but measuring 35 weeks by fundal height. My fluid levels are normal, this baby is just really high.

The midwife told me it can be 2 cm higher or lower and still be normal.

I am measuring ahead by 5 days.At my second scan at 12 weeks my EDD changed from 1/6 to 30/5 and at my 20 week scan it changed to 26/5

At my scan last month He was measuring 10 days ahead. I have another scan on the 23rd and we will see where he is at then.

My last appointment at 25 weeks I was measuring 30 weeks!

My doctor told me at my last appointment that baby boy is measuring ahead, but she didn't say how much. I'm going to ask more about it at my next appointment.

I'm measuring about a week ahead but it's been that way since my first scan.

I am, almost 29 weeks but measuring 31 weeks.
