I'm in the same boat. I was 146ish when I gave birth to my daughter and at my 12 week appointment last week I weighted the same. If I keep this up I'll be 160+ by the time I deliver.
That's more of a general guideline. You're caloric intake has to be balanced with expenditure in order to avoid gaining weight. But your metabolic rate is likely reduced. Just off the top of my head, 2000 seems like quite a bit, but you didn't give body size or exercise info, And not factoring in pregnancy.

That is quite a bit for just over a week, has it been consistently like that?

You're already 23 weeks?!

Мама сына (3 года), беременна (24 нед.)
@frenchie since the technical math is every lb gained is an extra 3500 calories consumed, I definitely didn't eat enough to add up to 10,500 calories
@pp I know right?! Time flies!

I can't believe you're 23 weeks already. The time goes by so fast when you're not the one pregnant lol.

I gained a bunch around that point. It slowed down towards the end.

Could it be water retention?
