pregnancy dream ruining name
So I had the weirdest last night. Tossed and turned from 1am on. To sum up, the name for our daughter so far is Devin. However, my dream told me I can't name her devin because it's one letter from devil and that's bad....

need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
So I made the post not to long ago about not having rights to the name blah blah blah well my cousin made a list of baby names for girls and guess what there it is again last one on the list!!! && she knew from being pregnant with my 2nd how bad I wanted that name if I had a girl!! lord if she ends up naming her daughter the name I wanted I’m still going name my daughter that too just different spelling!! I’ll be that person idc 🤣 like come up with your own unique names not take mine

Sarah and Devin are definitely way on the opposite. My oldest is Sarah-May. I picked it after I had her. Just looked at her and the name popped in my head. Maybe wait until you have her and see which suits her better?

"Devon" makes me think of the constant "Ugghh, Deehhh-vonnnn" from that one season of Teen Mom 3.

I've always liked the name Devin, and only when it's spelt like that lol. But for some reason I too had the same thoughts about it being too close to Devil. So I never used it ? Still like it though

We hadn't chosen a name for our DS. On day 2 of life, we were getting pressure from the registrar to pick so she could file the information for his birth record. We decided on Elias River and even though in my heart, I felt like River was the right name for him, I just felt like Elias was a stronger first name for a boy so we went with that.
A few minutes later, the lactation nurse came in and asked what his name was so we told her. She asked what our last name was (begins with R) and she immediately said, "you can't name him that. Then his initials will be ERR. Err means" a mistake".
I was upset but we decided to switch it. I'm SO glad we did because he is totally a River. She was just that reassurance we needed that my initial gut instinct to name him River was right.
Maybe that's what your dream was... maybe you're deeply second guessing it and your subconscious is telling you to keep looking.

Lol don't over think it! Dreams are so strange. Maybe your mind came up with that because the name Devin is similar to the word devil. I personally love the name Devin for a girl.
