felt better when they forgot
So tomorrow is my birthday. For 7 years my in laws have forgotten every year.
I have an eccentric uncle and aunt. One year my entire family got white-out for Christmas. The next year we took our vacation to their house in the Florida Keys. The closet of one of the bedrooms was full of Frosted Flakes cereal. That Christmas everyone received Tony the Tiger baseballs. The next year we were given items from a drug store that my aunt had bought the inventory when it went out of business. Things like bars of store brand bath soap and aloe.
Do they remember your name at least ??? My FIL is an idiot and on my daughters Christmas gift one year wrote "Lonnies daughter," I'm sure if DH didn't have the same name as him that would have been misspelt. He also tells everyone I'm DHs "baby mama." Nope, nope I'm his wife. In laws.. Gotta love em ?.
My so mom is awesome with gifts lol
Last year she got me a limited edition board game I wanted with the collector pieces! So says this year she's buying me and a friend a one day spa treatment! I can't wait! Even though surprise is ruined I'm acting like I don't know! I want that spa treatment so bad!
I can't stop laughing at you ladies ? all this talk about Christmas gets me excited lol.
My MIL gets everyone gifts from the flea market ? two years ago she gave all her church many flash lights as gift at the Christmas service. As soon as the pastor told the congregation to open up the Bibles to a verse everyone wiped out their little flash light turned it on so they could see. I wanted to run out of there so bad and laugh, Lord forgive me ?
I'm sorry! It's a crappy feeling! My mom didn't even tell me happy birthday last year, we were temporarily living with her too, oh but she "posted it on FB....." ? I'm on FB 1-2x per month... She has to show face for everyone else though.. Just do what I do, don't get them anymore bday gifts.. Neither of our parents give or receive gifts.. Lol happy bday!
Btw happy early birthday!
My in laws gifts are usually well thought out, awesome and really helpful but then there's those times when my husband and i get things like....a pack of keychains, those little sanitizer wipes, skin so soft, lots of animal print apparel smh, hospital socks, a selfie stick??, fish oil, shower caps and super glue.........um..thanks?....jokes aside though...they are lovely people and we see now that they just like to give us the little "just in case stuff".
My stepmother asks me every year at christmastime what size tops do I wear, and if I need a new purse. I tell her I'm a medium unless it's from Walmart then I'm a large. And I haven't used purses in a few years. Every year I get a big purse and a bunch of XL and XXL tops off the clearance rack at kohls
The last Christmas we saw my mil I was pregnant with my son. She gave me a Christmas decoration... I always put thought into everyone else's gifts and get junk from everyone. My dad is especially bad. That same year he got me cheap "massaging" slippers. Ya they literally just vibrated no massaging at all. He asked my little sister if my mom would like these boots he was going to get her, she said no and he bought them anyway. ?
My MIL has never remembered my birthday in 5 years. But for Xmas I ALWAYS get stupid dollar store candles like I don't even burn candles cause I'm paranoid about burning our apartment down with a toddler! I always just smile and say thank you. But its highly annoying especially when I do try to get her cute thoughtful gifts or even diy something I've worked hard on. Just to receive some damn $1 candles. I know the feels op.
One year for Christmas, my in laws gave me a dollar store candle and 2 pairs of fuzzy socks, while they gave their other daughter in law sitting right next to me a beautiful designer scarf. Also, every single year they give their son (my hubby) a size medium shirt. Each year we tell them he's 6'1 and wears a large. Still gets a medium the following year.
My birthday was yesterday and my MIL first asked my husband if she should send the card early because we were going to be on vacation last week, then sent me a card, tagged me in a happy birthday FB post the day before my birthday, shared the post a few hours later, then posted the same thing on my wall again on my birthday. A little nuts.
Happy birthday!
Question: 16 year old dating an q8 year old? Thoughts??
My opinion is hell no. 16 year old is still a kid. Kids now a days want to be grown so bad and be in adult relationships and situations. I know when my daughters are 16 and they tell me they are dating an 18 year old. I will surely flip my lid.

Not hating, but idc if i was a millionaire i would not but my 3 year old in a 950 anything 🤣😂
I been off my birth control pills since April this year
my hometown is ben dover ville in canada, and my baby daddy is named phil mahooters! he’s 30 years older than me but #ageisjustanumber 🥰😍❣️ #myfirstpost
My in laws are all divorced and remarried and former steps are still family, so there's a ton of them! Every year they each ask my husband for a short list of what I would like. Last Christmas I received 3 crockpots, 2 vacuum cleaners, and 3 deep fryers... yep he gave em all the same list lmao
