I'm so very sorry that you have to deal with this. Have you talked to anyone about it? Any family? You shouldn't have to hold in all of that pain even if it is 'just' a day. Try to take some time for yourself. Maybe even just a warm bath. It'll give you time to be alone and to digest it all.

Thank you all for your love and support. My husband won't be home until tomorrow so trying to keep it together until then. Definitely hit me harder than I thought it would.

Took the dog to the vet today. The woman told me to have a good day. Kind of hit me. You say that all the time to people. You don't think anything of it. But she when she said that to me, she didn't know it was the worst day I've had in forever. That there was no way this would be a good day. You never know how things are when you say normal things
