ttc based off of birthday month

ttc based off of birthday month

Does anyone else ttc based off the month the baby will be born? My husband REFUSES to have a December baby so he won't ttc until the birth month is February or later (baring an act of God causing them to be early). He also doesn't want a July baby. To many birthdays in those months.

Yes ds1 was not planned and was born in April. We live in Texas and I loved that I was pregnant during the winter. We planned ds2 to be an April or May baby that way I would be pregnant over winter again, I couldn't imagine being pregnant in the summer down here. Just so happens we conceived the first time we tried so ds1 birthday is April 13th and ds2 birthday is April 30th.

I *thought* I wanted a fall baby at first... but after so many fertility problems I didn't care what his/hers birthday would be, just so that there would be a birthday to celebrate. Ended up having a spring baby, March 12th. And it was really perfect timing. I wasn't huge in the summer and the whether was warm by the time we were ready to get outside and walk.

I've never really thought about it honestly. We didn't plan our first. Our second two were but not planned based on birth month. Our 4th was a complete surprise and due in April. Now that we are wanting a rainbow, I don't care when he or she comes. I just want some baby snuggles, no matter the season! ☺️

I'm planning to for the next baby either July or novemeber so there are 2 months in between my kids birthdays. I also want it to be on the 14 cause then we would have a number sequence of 12,13,14,15,16 which I think is cool. But, if happens when it happens. Dd was supposed to be a June baby but decided May was more her style lol

Well babies don't really care about the calendar. They could be early or late. So you might be due in June, but if baby is two weeks late, they may come in July. My son was due in December and he's a November baby. I also tried with both kids to be due in March, April or May because I'm a teacher. Well, nature doesn't really care and my kids are November and January babies.

I did for maternity leave purposes and teaching schedule. I gave myself a window of three months just in case but got the exact month I wanted as a due date ?

I wanted a summer baby so I wouldn't have to take time off work (school aide). Worked out just right.

We are planning our next this way. (With Gods grace of course) because my son was born December 30th and in between the two holidays, kinda stinks.

Never even thought of this with dd but if we have a second, I would not want it born during the winter months. Way to much sickness floating around!

I was only told to avoid tax season if possible and not to give birth during football season. I somehow managed to avoid both!

Well with fertility treatments we were just happy with any date. Although the joke in my family is no babies in July or August because this is when cherry harvest falls (my parents and grandparents are cherry farmers ). Looks like I might break this rule lol. I due July 4th. We are anticipating an earlier harvest because of the mild winter. Oops. Lol

Yes we did! Supposedly I couldn't get pregnant with out meds so we had sex one time without protection and was going to start my meds when the possibility for a December baby had passed.

She was born December 19. ? no clomid taken. But we just adore her so now it doesn't matter. ?

Yes! I didn't care what month I just wanted anything before October due to the whole transitional kinder thing!

I just wanted to NOT be pregnant during summer. April is close enough.

That was the plan for baby number 2! I wanted to ttc in September to have a baby in the summer because my first was in the first week of January just after all the holidays, but I'm pregnant again and due in late November.

Yep, we did. Soooo many family have bdays in dec/jan so we didnt want a baby to be born then

We do! Originally we were planning to TTC in May, but that would cause us to have a February birthday and literally everyone in my family including DHs birthday is in February, so we are waiting.

That was the plan for baby #2 but it didn't happen lol I wanted to start TTC in July or August and aim for a spring baby. I made the mistake of saying 'I wish it was July so we could start now' and apparently all my husband heard was 'start now'... Our daughter was just born the middle of February lol

Side note it only took one try for each of our kids lol

We have been ttc baby #4 for 3.5 years now and I very much stay away from having a November or December baby. I don't really want a January baby either lol

When we were ttc, we avoided months that would give a due date during summer. I did not want to be in the 3rd trimester during summer again.

We avoid December like the plague. We have something like 30-40 birthdays including mine, my mom's, my aunt and both uncles along with grandparents and cousins. My youngest was a surprise and I just kept thinking "please don't be a December baby" over and over. When she said January 17th I vowed to keep him in there for as long as possible lol. Next baby I want to plan away from both of my son's birthdays and major holidays.

We tried at first. Dh is a teacher, so he wanted to have a summer baby since he would be off work. We ended up having to do fertility treatments, so we didn't care at that point. It worked itself out anyway and DD was born in July.

I really want a may baby. My husband and I always want to try for that but I always get pregnant too soon.

Lol our first two sons are both January babies and now baby girl should be here on Monday. We planned her perfectly so we could have a March or April baby because it sucks that it's freezing cold on the boys birthdays and we can't do much so we started trying in June of last year

Starting TWW. Anyone else?

Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

It is important to make informed, educated decisions not only based off of what you are told, but based off of what you feel inside your heart and based off of medical facts. No medical organization in the world recommends routine infant circumcision. It is time to stand up against the social "norm" here in the United States and protect our baby boys!
