I swear my in laws are the most helpless people ever. They called my husband, from their car, because a warning light came on and they didn't know what it meant. My husband isn't a mechanic, he doesn't have the same car, oh and he doesn't have the owners manual. Then they wanted him to find an autozone fit them to take it too to get looked at. They were in a place my husband's never been.

This kind of stuff bugs me! And Dh is the kind of person that seeks out these kind of "jobs," while I am reminding him our freaking trash needs to be taken out... But by all means, please take your grown cousin to town to buy his groceries. ?

Morganaa just because they are from a different generation doesn't mean they didn't have resources in their time. I remember in the time before smartphones my parents using a phone book to find a mechanic or doctor's office.

?I've been getting so annoyed with my bfs side too. His mom and brother (60s & mid 30s) can't seem to do anything without him. They live together & drive eachother crazy, then call him to talk about the other one. There's always some kind of drama. He's always having to go over there. Then he's fed up from dealing with them that his patience gets short with dd. He keeps saying he's sick of it &is done dealing with their $hit, I just can't wait until the day he actually means it lol.
