Oh very nice. I'm sure you could use any meat and even tofu if you're trying to limit how much meat your child eats. Thanks for the great suggestion. I'd probably eat this too lol

My toddler will refuse to eat that, he's extremely picky. Good idea for mom though.

I can never go wrong with rice and beans for lunch.

My son absolutely loves it!

We eat white rice, I'm trying to be more healthy. And I've been trading stuff out since having my son. Is white rice unhealthy? What makes brown rice better for you?

White rice is a simple carb so it's not as good for you as brown rice which is a complex carb

Ahhh, ok.

I'll have to pick some up my next grocery trip and give it a try. I LOVE rice and eat it like 4 times a week. ? I don't give it to my son that often though. But atleast i won't feel so bad about eating it if I switch over to brown rice.

I season the turkey with a little pepper, garlic salt, and onion powder

You learn something new every day

According to that chart he's within the right limits. He eats about 1/4 or less of a cup (cooked) so 1/8 uncooked. But he doesn't eat it daily

Reminds me of picadillo. We add cooked tomatoes, green peppers, unions, and olives.

I make this for my kids, they love it, especially my 19 month old.
