Teach him to point it down. Boys are hard it's a two step process 1st sitting then standing

My son is almost 5 and still points his penis down into the toilet, I think all little boys do

Mine like to spread their legs so they hold it down.

Tuck it down. You can show him a couple times and then just tell him "tuck your penis". He won't always get it down in time, or he won't tuck it completely and it will shoot through the crack between the lid and the bowl, but it becomes second nature.

Eta: you can also just teach him to pee standing up. Then the tucking only becomes necessary when he's pooping.

He asked to sit on the potty. I tried to point it down and close his legs. He wasn't having it lol.

DS pushed it down. Lol it was shocking for mil the first time she helped him go potty. He told her "I got to make sure my penis is down". They get the hang of it eventually. Some quicker than others.

Pp- always down. Right after I had my son the nurse was teaching us how to change his diaper, she said "gun down" and it's stuck. We always say it lol

I can't get my boy to sit & he's still to short to stand so this crazy kid puts one foot on either side of the seat & squats ?...works for him lol

Do you have a little potty or is he just using the regular toilet? I know my little potty has like a shield that you put on for boys to block the front...

And when you put him in pull ups make sure his penis is pointing down. I didn't know and he was a hot mess.

Teach him how to point his penis down or stand.

Don't worry soon enough he'll decide to stand like dad and you'll have pee on your floor again.

Yup poke it down lol. My son now just automatically does it himself. Or make sure he's positioned far enough back.
