jessa and Ben
Are offically married. But apparently they did not share their first kiss at the alter. They want to share their first intimate moment in private.

Ok I agree with another comment. How do you go from not being alone, no privacy what so ever to full blown wah! we can make out and tonight touch each other anywhere and were going to have sex.
Also the duggars don't date- excuse me, court for years to get married it's like what usually around 8-11 months if im not mistaken? From courting to sex in that space of time after being so sheltered. How do you not go in to some kind of shock after seeing a naked man and his penis for the FIRST time and process ok that's going inside of me.
And if they court someone are they allowed to say "dad it's not working I don't feel it"? Or will Jim bob think she's a heathen for even thinking about courting more than one person? From what iv seen they always marry the 1st one.

I bet they had a hot make out session

Aww ! Can't wait to see their wedding :)

I saved myself for marriage and when you wait that long for something and sex is reserved for truly giving yourself away to another person, for the rest of your lives, i don't really think you can come out of that experience disappointed. It was such a pivotal moment in my life. Total joy and love and acceptance.
Sex to most people is just a physical act but when you save yourself for someone I don't think its possible to be lacking the so-called "sexual chemistry"
I feel like lack of sexual chemistry is something that would only be noticed by someone who has had other sex partners. When you're both starting fresh you have nothing to compare it to. No "so & so's penis was bigger" or "oh i wish it had been more like my experience with so & so"
Of course thats just my own experience and viewpoint.

I think the waiting until marriage for sex part is ok but the rest of the rules are kind of crazy. At least for me. The couples are never allowed to be alone. They are never allowed to talk on the phone without a third person listening in to the conversation, they can't privately text each other (the parents have to be added to the text as well) they can't hug (only side hug) , they can't kiss. After dating with all of those rules and after not ever having as much as an intimate meaningful conversation with this person you become married, you see each other naked and he will penetrate you with his penis? All in the same day! That's just not for me. But whatever works for them is none of my business lol

They wouldn't even know the difference because they have never had sex with anyone else.
deleted-user·
I wish that my so and I would have waited until we met each other, to share that bond that we waited and gave ourselves to each other. We discuss this sometimes.

Am I the only person who thinks that emotion plays a huge part in sex?? If I'm in love with someone it makes the sex intimate and amazing.
Plus, even if he isn't "well endowed" she won't know the difference since she has no other experience.
deleted-user·
Good for them wanting to have their first intimate moment in private!
I also think it's a very personal choice to wait that long for your first kiss but if that's what they want, whatevs. My only question is....how are you ready to go from your first kiss to sex in like an 8 hour span?? I had my first kiss at 14 and wasn't ready physically and emotionally for years.
deleted-user·
It's true sex isn't everything but imagine if you're a sexual person or turn out to be if you wait to have sex till marriage and your SO is not well endowed at all and doesn't know what to do with you and it NEVER gets better.
What do couples do when they wait till marriage and find out there is NOOOOOO sexual chemistry at all?
I couldn't imagine marrying without knowing my SO in and out including sexualy but I respect people that wait.
Edit: just saw angie wrote exactly what I was trying to make a point of before me

Oh my gosh that is so cute! I love watching them together they are like cute little kids all giggly and stuff

I doubt they had a quicky. Why wait all that time to do it in a church?
deleted-user·
Me and dh didn't save our first kiss, but we did save sex for our wedding night.
Definitely chemistry.
Definitely worth the wait. I didn't marry him for sex.. Thankfully it is great though. ;) in the end, sex isn't what's gonna keep you together though.
I think it's super sweet and special that they saved their first kiss. That had to be a very intimate moment!
deleted-user·
Awh I think that's sweet. I think they are so passionate for each other!

Now that I'm getting old and I've had so much heart break with relationships, I totally wish I would have had their whole courtship standards when I was a teen. I could have scared off so many creeps that way!
deleted-user·
Lol yea mary. And I think they only hold hands when they are like deep in their relationship like engaged.
deleted-user·
@amcx no thats crazy!
deleted-user·
@mary no the furthest they go before marriage is holding hands and side hugs. Never seen the duggars ?!

I wonder if they told anyone they weren't missing. Jim bob seemed so proud to announce jill and dereks
deleted-user·
That's awesome they wanted privacy. Remember Josh and Anna's first kiss? Awkward!
deleted-user·
If it works for them go for it. I love that they did the kiss in private.
deleted-user·
Hmmmm...I think it had to be a really tough decision so I say good for them! I love the Duggars, I think they are a remarkable family! I sometimes wonder though if the girls ever feel pressure to have a lot of children like Michelle did.
deleted-user·
First kiss? Like they had never kissed before they got married?
deleted-user·
I wouldn't want people to witness my first kiss either. Lol awkward.
deleted-user·
I love them! :)
