first appointment Does anyone usually take their SO to the first prenatal visit? Just curious

Geez my husband forgot I was even pregnant this weekend ?? he went to all of them last time but is skipping Probly 90% this time.

My husband went to just about every appointment last time and I'm sure he will want to this time too

My husband wants to be at every appointment and US also!! He's so excited and wants to be so involved and this is baby #3. He was the same way with our first two!!

My SO likes to be involved in everything. He was with our first child and we have already been to the doctors 3 times so far & he's gone all 3 times with me!❤ he's wonderful

Mine just goes when I'm having an ultrasound and not even always then. He went to my first ultrasound last time... and my anatomy scan... I can't remember if he was at any of the other scans. I'm high risk so I get a lot

With my last pregnancy my husband went to all but one of my appointments. I think most go to US appts but some like to be involved in everything!

My husband went to most of the appts with me last time. Most of the woman in the waiting room had their partner with them. Maybe it's different here.

My SO wants to go to every single one. He's already told our boss that he will need half days off on the appointment days.

Mines went to every appointment last pregnancy his work schedule had changed and now work 2jobs so idk if his gonna be able to come this time around unless he takes off

Yeah my SO already said he was going lol. I have the first appointment with the nurse not sure but I would imagine they would go ahead and do the transvaginal u/s at that appointment ? I will be a little over 7wks my first appointment. Guess I should have asked but I qas trying to hurry since I made it while at work

My husband likes to go to the first one because of the ultrasound. He goes to the gender ultrasound as well, but other than that I just keep him posted on updates.

Nope. I just bring mine to the ultrasounds. The appts aren't much and it's about an hour wait for a 5 minute check up so I won't bother him with that.

I would and he would definitely be there but unfortunately my first appointment is the middle of the day and he just can't miss anymore work. I'll have to record the ultrasound for him so he can hear the heartbeat Wednesday

my husband likes to go to them all. But thats just him lol

I am because I am also having an ultrasound. :) it all depends on what your visit is for and if you both want him to be there.
