Every baby is different. You have to try a whole bunch and see what he likes. Try every day. Have someone else try when you're not around. They should try holding him different ways to see if that helps. We went through this when I went back to work and it was rough but now she takes a bottle like a champ! Good luck and be strong! You can always message me if you need support.
He's 5 weeks old and I tried one of the dr brown bottles and I was the one who tried so maybe I just need to see if my husband can get him to do it but he didn't seem to like the bottle at alll so I wasn't sure if their was a specific bottle I should use?
How old is baby? What bottle have you tried? I tried Avent bottles at 4 weeks and my daughter didn't take. I switched to Comotomo at 5 weeks and she took ever since. She is 10.5 months now. Experiment with different bottles, have someone else other than you offer the bottle. Good luck!
I just got my 4 month old to take the bottle. Every baby likes a different bottle but from my experience I tried feeding her while she was on my lap with her back towards my chest, using the Dr. Browns brand. And after daily sessions she finally stopped screaming during "bottle time". Then after we got comfortable with the bottle and it wasn't making her cry anymore we moved to feeding her while she was sitting in her swing and I was facing her. It took a couple of attempts of her playing with the nipple and never latching, then taking 20 minute breaks, rewarming the milk and trying again. But then she got hungry enough to finally latch! I seriously cried, I was such a proud mommy. Good luck momma!
Don't forget to get other people to try to feed you LO, my baby won't take the bottle from daddy yet. :(
