postpartum swelling
2 days pp (vbac) and I have a lot of swellen in my hands, feet and face. Is this supposed to happen or should I contact my dr? Kinda weird. Got discharged this morning and didn't have any swelling then
should I be worried if I have sudden massive swelling in my legs??
Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights

So I have some bad swelling in my legs, worse in my left. What do I do?
I haven't had too bad of a time with swelling this entire pregnancy.. Just the occasional minimal ankle swelling when I've been on my feet all day.. But now my feet have ballooned up and I had them up! I wasn't on my feet. Should I be concerned?

This happened to me after my last birth and I had headaches as well. Checked my blood pressure and it was high so I rushed to the er and they put me on meds to bring my blood pressure down. It was preeclampsia.

Much of the swelling is caused by the bags of IV fluids that you receive during labor. I didn't get an IV, I didn't have any swelling.

That makes sense. It was a little weird bc I didn't have much swelling when I was pregnant. My right hand was tingling before it started to swell too.
