What does it mean to be close? My dr just checked me and said I'm not dilated any but I'm close. I tried to ask him but he's an older dr. He answered only one of my questions then walked out the room ?

I caught up with the nurse who was in the room and she said that I'm closed, not close lol. So this baby trying to make this her permanent home lol

That could mean anything really lol. He could just be trying to console you so you don’t worry about rushing anything. Or he could really mean you’re close to dilating, which I would assume means you’re cervix is thinning out. :)
