I had it different when I was preg...like diarrhea on and off and didnt go every day.. Almost immediately after giving birth I was bak on track, going once or twice daily. Try taking stool softener and drink lots of water!!

Yes I'm 6wks pp & it still hurts so bad for me to go but I believe that's because I have a hemorroid from pregnancy that's trying to go away. Stool softener Colace did not help at all.

I had the same problem. I almost went to the ER lol no joke. Anyways I ended up going with my doctor because even the stool softeners was not helping me. She told me to keep on taking them and to add Miralax . So what I did was.. I will take two stool softeners with 16 ounces of water in the morning followed by a cup of orange juice mixed with one scoop of Miralax (only once a day) and at night time I would take again two stool softeners and it worked. Keep on doing this until you feel better. Good luck and I hope this helps

When I was pregnant, my bowels locked up and I couldn't do number one or 2 so I had to get a catheter put in and ever since then, my bowels haven't been the same. I've tried the colace but I feel like it doesn't help with the one that's already hard. I'll talk to my doc on the 14th to see if I should do the miralax or something else. Thanks ladies!!
