Egg Yoke

I see lots of posts of LO eating egg yoke & want to try it with my LO. How do you feed it to your baby? Just take the yoke out of the hard boiled egg & mash it up? Do you feed it to baby on a spoon? Or does baby pick up the crumbles?

I never knew you weren't supposed to give whites! haha. out of the loop here..

lo loves scrambled eggs (regular ones with the whites) and eats them with her hands

Lola says it her Filipino in her.. haha.. this girl only eats with her hands. she downright refuses utensils.

I boil the egg, separate the yolk and give it with a spoon together with a puree

I hard boil the egg and also boil a potato. Once the potato is soft enough I mash the egg yolk in with it. My son loves it

I made scrambled eggs tonight for my lo just out of the yolk. He seemed to really like them.

I hard boiled the egg, ate the white myself and mashed up the yolk with a bit of water. The girls didn't like it too much the first time, so I ended up mixing it with puréed carrot (not something I'd ever think to do, but I read somewhere that combo was supposed to be good!).

I also gave my dd scrambled eggs with the whites and yolks. We have no food allergies in our families.

I just feed my lo the whole egg scrambled. Unless there is a history of allergy, most new guidelines say now to bother waiting to give the white anymore.
