Hi I live on the Gold Coast ... The one in south port is the biggest on the coast... There is a tiny free play area in Stockland Burleigh heads... Off reedy creek rd.

There is inflatable world few weeks new also in Burleigh... I loved doodle bugs in Miami for indoor play areas. Has a little train... 2Bkids isn't bad either also at Burleigh.

The only shopping centre I know of is Garden City, they have them spread out throughout the centre but it's going to be too far from Surfers.

You will probably find; great weather in the morning with a storm in the afternoon ?

Thanks, I heard of abrakidazdle when googling indoor play centres (but they all basically claim to be the biggest / best so I'd prefer to hear from actual mums which are the best). And Timezone is already on our list for tomorrow (hubby will prob take dd for a 'date').

Down in Sydney heaps of the shopping centres have free indoor playgrounds / soft play areas (our local has 3 separate play areas, plus some in the parents rooms also!) but I haven't seen any such things up here yet, is it not really a Qld thing? My just turned 1yo isn't walking yet but loves these play areas.

Hopefully if it is like the usual weather we get here it won't rain all day, there is nothing worse when you are on holidays! The only place I can think of is Surfers Paradise Centro which has a big Timezone upstairs but probably not much fun for the 1 year old but should be for the 4 year old. I was there with my 5 year old niece a couple of weeks ago and she had a ball but I think the adults enjoyed it even more :)

I've only been to yard apes in Upper Coomera. Its quite good.
