children and mosque

i just need to let this out. i jokingly asked my dh a few times to take my 2 year old to the mosque when he goes there for isha prayers and last week for the first time he actually did. i probably looked pretty horrible (i’m in my first trimester and i don’t feel well most of the time) that he actually agreed lol. so the first time he was a bit late but managed to pray at the end of the row near the wall, so my dd just stayed beside him and he said she followed the prayer from start to finish. she even does the ruku’, that never happens at home lol. since it went well the first time, he brought her again the second time but he couldn’t get a place near the end this time, so people who were coming late come to pray next to him, when that happens my dd actually moved to the back. so when he couldn’t see her, he couldn’t really focus on his prayers. he kept worrying someone’ll kidnap her or something like that. my dd isn’t the type to make much noise, she was quite the whole time (she was actually following the prayers from behind dh, he peek at her when in sujood position). honestly i have the same worries. there are many cases where people steal in the mosque. i once watch a cctv footage in a mosque where a man wears like a woman wearing niqab and steal a handbag when people were in sujood position. even in masjidil haram people are stealing, lying, taking advantage of you and all that. i just have the thought if people are brave enough to do that in a mosque, they probably can do worst thing like kidnapping. i’m also afraid of pedophiles honestly (nauzubillah min zalik), that’s my worst fear. i dunno, i do feel it’s weird i can’t trust people in a mosque, i don’t feel it’s the safest place, although it should be, right? obviously my dh feels the same way. not sure if he’s gonna take her again lol.

glad i’m not just paranoid and everyone feels the same way. inshaAllah maybe we’ll wait when she’s a bit older. my dh just wants to help whenever he can but safety first of course. being pregnant with a toddler is no joke. she got so much energy while i have none!! and we’re far from family, so it’s hard sometimes with no extra help. i hope 2nd trimester will be better.

thank you sisters ?

We have thought about letting my son go with his dad, my husband knows a lot of the men that go to the masjid but I'm still not 100% sure about him going. Not until he understands he can't run off or until he can shout out if somethin is wrong.

Ds is a really shy timid boy anyways I don't think he would wonder off but I wouldn't like to risk it. All it takes is a split second ?

I would wait til ur dd is older before sending her again.

I pray ur pregnancy is going ok.. may Allah swt make it easy for u, I really struggled first trimester with my second aswel xxxx

I 100% agree with you about being scared! I wouldn’t let my daughter go with her Dad either. I trust my husband, but it’s the people around that I don’t trust! May Allah protect our children from all evil.

InshaAllah when things get better for you, you can take her when ever you feel like it?

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.

Trigger warning UPDATE IN COMMENTS

Trigger warning UPDATE IN COMMENTS So going off of my poll about using correct body terms I need some 2nd opinions. I feel like I am so paranoid about this. So my sil has been with my brother for 12 years now. Our families are really close. We clean for her mom and step dad every two weeks and house sit from time to time. Her mom absolutely adores my dd so we would bring her with us. I started noticing that her stepdad would always want to bring her in another room. I didn't think anything because they could occupy her while we cleaned no big deal. Her mom would often lay down because she has severe fibromyalgia and has a hard time with pain. But then he would say things like let's go in the play room and change your diaper. And if we went into that room to vacuum or clean the bathroom he seemed burdened that we went in there. Odd. I mentioned it to dh and he started getting uncomfortable with her being alone with him. I just always had a weird feeling about how he acted and the things he'd say. I just didn't really start paying attention until after awhile. He always says things like why don't you come sit on my lap. It always just sounded weird when he said it. I don't want to cause trouble if nothing is really happening but would his behavior strike you as odd or weird? Should I be concerned?
