Dieting whilst pregnant
Has anyone got any tips on dieting whilst pregnant? Any good diets? Well Healthy eating I suppose rather than dieting, I just feel like a ginormous great big fat b**** and i'll just get fatter as the pregnancy goes on I need to get a grip! ?
Thanks ladies, I'll just try and eat healthier! No trips to the shop in the eve for sweets and chocolate ?
While I was pregnant with Bethany, I cut back on junk food, ate more fruit, and did light exercise several days a week instead of intensive stuff a couple of times a month. I didn't lose weight at any point but only gained 21lb throughout my pregnancy (I'd started at 11st7lb)
The main thing I found was that I could wear pre pregnancy clothes again 5 days pp, and by the time my maternity leave ended I was a stone lighter than when I conceived.
It's difficult to be healthy 100% of the time. Especially with morning sickness. Sometimes you just don't want to eat fruit and veg.
If your at a stage you feel okay, I'd just cut out as much processed foods and possible and cook with fresh ingredients. Not exactly a diet but healthy for you and baby.
I think slimming world is the diet midwifes recommend.
My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.
So I'm supposed to start my period today and I took a test with fmu and it came back negative :( really bummed.. I just hate how I have to struggle to get pregnant. Everyone seems to get pregnant so quick I just don't understand :((
If anyone is trying to get any tattoos done on them, I really recommend you not to especially if you are pregnant. You can seriously HARM the child!
Only found out I was pregnant last night after I ended up in A&E thinking it was my kidney🙈 7 hours sat in A&E, didn't get home until 4 this morning just to find out I was pregnant! Couldn't of been any better news tbh. Doctors tomorrow👶🏼💙
I had gestational diabetes in my last pregnancy so I had to go on a much healthier diet. You could try eating like a diabetic? Cutting down on carbs and increasing veg and protein
