First hair cut! She's 19 months now and it's long enough to plait but quite wispy at the ends, should I take her to have the ends cut? Or leave it for a few more months?

Every couple of months I'd say, more when you think it needs it. I'm sure he won't notice ? xx

I've just done it girls, thanks! How often should I be doing it? Just when I think it needs it? :)

I cut my son's hair. That's one time he's allowed the ipad to himself to keep him still

I'd take bit of the ends myself and keep doing it for a while. Hairdresser will do exactly the same and charge you for it.

Haha I know same!! Yeah I'd blunt off the ends. And I doubt your husband would even notice if you did that xx

Thanks girls, Should I just give it a go myself then? My husband doesn't want it trimmed but it's looking a bit ratty come lunch time! Ahh I can only do it when she's eating, trapped in her high chair watching peppa! And it's bloody hard work ?

I'd trim the ends to blunt them off and you'll find they'll probably grow thicker then. I'm a hairdresser btw lol. So cute, wish my lg would stay still enough for me to do this! Xx

I do Ivy's hair (I am a hairdresser tho) and shes 16 months. It looks so much thicker with the ends off! Maybe just get a tiny bit taken off every so often xx

Just take any ends of yourself at home, i regularly trim my lgs hair and I always get comments on how long and thick it is xx

Personally I think I'd leave it for a while and let the rest of her hair catch up a little more then get her ends tidied. Must say I'm so jealous I can't wait until I can plait my LGs hair! Xx
