Drinking wine?
So my bf & I are watching the fight tonight at his moms house, she's sending him to the liquor store to get drinks for the fight & (she doesn't know I'm pregnant btw) she will find it very odd if I'm not drinking so I'm thinking I could probably have a glass of red wine & play it off but I'm a little nervous & I'm wondering what kind of red wine we should get? What do you ladies think?

I don't think you're supposed to have a glass until 3rd trimester? I wouldn't risk it, but it's ultimately up to you!

I had a small glass early on.
And with my first pregnancy I guess I got lucky considering I didn't know I was pregnant and drank a lot during my first trimester. Thank God my son was born healthy with no issues what so ever.
It's up to you to drink or not as long as you feel comfortable with 1 glass.

Not worth risking your baby's brain development just to avoid an awkward social situation to me. You could tell her your hungover or that your throats hurts or whatever.

I was told one drink every now and then is ok but if I was you I would say your sick and just took cold medicine and can't drink on it

I don't find it wrong drinking wine but my hubby says otherwise. Just say you have a migraine and not up for it.

Ya since your bf is buying he could help play it off, get a nonalcoholic wine or get seltzer water and cranberry juice and pretend it's a cocktail.

I definitely wouldn't risk it in the first trimester!

Agree you can get non alcoholic wine!

Get a non-alcoholic wine and have him be the only one to pour your drinks. Another option is take it and have your bf drink it

Get o douls and pour it in a glass

My sister in law has a glass wine when pregnant. I personally wouldn't like pp said I would say I am not feeling well.

You can tell her you aren't feeling very well.
deleted-user·
I wouldn't.

I wouldn't. Not worth it. But that's just me.
