Induction stories?
I'm scheduled for induction on Friday and I'm a little nervous. Can anyone share their induction stories please. Was it really bad? I could really use some piece of mind.
Yes it is more painful. You are forcing your body into something its not ready for.
That said, I was induced 4 years ago with foley bulb and pitocin and no pain meds. I was in hard labor for 4 hours. Pushed for 10 minutes. He was perfect :)
10 days ago I was induced again with cervidil. Hard labor 2 hours pushed for 6 minutes. Again, no pain meds. She is perfect :)
Good luck! Relax! Stress and worry makes it so much harder!
Is it true that it's more painful though? And did any of you get an epi?
I'm actually looking for good stories because I've heard so many bad ones. I need to know its not that bad. Lol
I don't want to get your hopes up because I know everyone is different, but don't only listen to horror stories! My induction went great. We started pitocin at noon and I had my son at 6:09 pm... Only pushed for about 15 minutes. & I made myself do nervous that I threw up that morning! Don't stress!

Thanks for all the ❤️ guys! I think I'm in shock! Labor story in a bit I'm being attacked with visitors lol
Anyone has an induction story? I'm scared for tomorrow.
Induction stories PLEASEEEE ! I go in on the 7th ... I'm a FTM !
so nothing has changed about baby girl or my cervix so I'm getting induced anybody have a induction story ?
Are induction labor contractions really that bad as people say they are ?
First time - induced with full dose of syntocinon, intense, epi, about 10hrs all up.
Second time - asked for a half dose, 1hr of contractions, 28 mins pushing, no pain meds, awesome birth!!!!!
I am super sensitive to any drug, even a really low dose antihistamine knocks me out for days. So the half dose was perfect.
Gl honey, everyone is different, as is everytime. Try to go in relaxed and confident. You'll be great!
Just think about the prize!!
