for me its who says it and when...my hubby said "I cant believe they are still weighing u in pounds" he was joking and i thought it was funny too, however my mother asked how much i gain and gasped, I was PISSED and pissed for a long time too! Im in the military and the guys teese me all the time but thats just how we are to each other...if they gave me a compliment it would be weird!

Im sorry, I dont care who says it, even my husband will not call me fat. He can call me big, but not fat. You cant tell the amount of weight Ive gained from looking, but it is outrageous and Im self conscious. Im always worried my body will never return. The only comment anyone needs to say about my appearance is, 'Youre so beautiful!!' And now I know that as well for future pregos I encounter.

It doesn't bother me either, actually im just happy ppl can tell im preggo now cuz for the longest i felt fat instead of pregnant.

well i thought it wasnt going to botter me until someone told me oh you are ready to pop! and another guy said are you sure your not having twins? like really??? im not that big and it kinda hurt my feelings i know they didnt mean to make me feel bad but it did!

I don't mind comments about my belly!! I'd prefer it but when people start calling me fat because I'm growing a baby, then yes I'm offended! I am not fat I'm pregnant!

my husband calls me chubby after he asks what I've eaten that day, but his bestfriend pisses me off when he calls me fat. he actually uses the word fat. ugh! But I love the comments a customer says. he either says, the watermelon seeds are terrible huh....or...hello, super pregnant. :-)

It hurts my feelings when I'm eating and my partner calls me fatso or beef cake or one of the other 100 terms he thinks is funny! Because it's not really referring to my bump.

It just depends on who says what. My husband calls me a fatty when I eat a cupcake and then he giggles. It's an endearing term with me and him. I love it. My mom says I'm huge and can't wait to hold her chubby grand baby. Also something I love. But other times it just hits me wrong. It's situational.

This girl in which I can't stand bc she is completely obnoxious said something out of the blue to me. She asked me if they needed to save me two seats at the table n for some reason thought it was funny. If it were to have been my friend (although none of my friends talk like this to me) it would have been ok but when the girl doesn't know anything about me I have a problem w it. She is just a co worker that no one can tolerate n this was at work n completely inappropriate.

I agree with you! It doesnt bother me at all. But maybe to some its not what there saying its how there saying it to us. Somethings can be offensive if its not said in the right context especially to us with all of our raging hormones lol
