Ha! That is when I hang up and call back. If they say can I put you on hold I would say well I waited on hold for someone to help me already and disconnected... They usually come back to the phone pretty quickly then.

I just called the doctor but I've been on hold for 12 minutes already and I'm getting upset now because what if I was going into labor and they have me waiting this long. They dnt even know who I am or anything I dnt understand how they can have someone on hold for this long ?

Yea np. I know it can be stressful timing them at work but I guarantee u will know the difference! This is my second kid so I became aware after the first. I was so paranoid but now I understand.

Thanks alot acorely. I havent really been able to time them because I've been so busy at work but I just got out and the cramps haven't gone away. It's hard to tell when I'm actually having the contractions tho, all I can really concentrate on is the cramps

Yes that is EXACTLY what it feels like. Just make sure that you time them to make sure they are not real contractions. If you keep having them like every few min, call your dr. You really never know w/ how far we all are. I am just grateful for every day she stays in my stomach. :)

@pinkteen were your cramps regular? i tried timing mine but it went from 30 minutes to 5 minutes so idk....should i be worried? you kinda frightened me :/

i got scared at first cause they said contractions feel like period cramps but i started paying attention to the clock and its not regular at all. it sucks so bad cause im also nauseas so feeling like i have dirrarea and jumping up to go every 30 minutes isnt helping my stomach...esp. when i dont even really have to go :(

I thought I was expirencing those too but I went to see my doctor last night and they hooked me up to the nst machine n I was told I was contracting

Havingaboy: yes that's exactly how mine feel. It's pretty uncomfortable and I'm at work right now chasing after kids so it doesn't make it any better

i was just about to ask this question. ive had braxton hicks where my belly just got hard and i knew that was braxton hicks but now im getting period cramps with a soft belly..it kinda feels like a really need to go to the bathroom but when i go nothing happens

I think I am too I get one a hour and moving doesnt help and mine last about five minutes, I can't remember what they really feel like though..:/
