Today I had my second appointment at 10w2d, they weren't suppose to do an ultra sound but had a little trouble finding…

I get my first ultrasound at 11weeks on 20th Feb and I plan to tell then ! It's been nerve wrecking having no types of scans so I'm really looking forward to this! If I were you I would tell :) xx

Ecp I seen movement at 8 weeks! So definitely moving around already

I had my first u/s today too. Im measuring 10+3. If you dont mind me asking, when did they say your due date is? Im having issues figuring that out bc they didnt tell me and they were going off my lmp previously.

Cheerchick- like precious poster said they might be able to give an educated guess at around 15 weeks. One of my friends was told wrong gender that early. My doctor said I would come in at 19 weeks for gender/anatomy scan and specifically said 18 weeks is actually too early. (Doubt it's too early but they probably just want to be sure). I've heard of 3rd parties that have better 3D equipment that can tel you much earlier though.

Epc - I wasn't expecting to see movement! I asked her while she was doing the scan so she tried to move on my abdomen to get the baby to move. I was recording the whole time for my husband and right after she said "babies this young don't really move much" and I said "it's okay. I was just hoping" and boom! Right away the baby begins moving and kicking, almost like tantrums where the it was moving its back like a worm. I seriously hope you get to see it, it was the most magical moment so far and my husband cried from the video.

You can usually tell the gender at 15 weeks. I found it at exactly 15 weeks with both my boys

Do you know when they can tell you the gender? I'm 10 weeks + 2 today! But my first ultrasound isn't scheduled until March 6th! I'll be 14 weeks by then? Wondering if I'll be able to know at my first appointment ????

That's so cool that it was moving! My first ultrasound is Friday and I'll be 10 weeks and I was hoping that wasn't too soon to see movement.
