Gifts for siblings? Has anyone gotten or given in the past, a gift to give to the older sibling when bub is born, from the new baby, my friend did it yrs ago for her daughter when she had her son, i love the idea so I got this book to give to my 5yr old son in the hospital when his sister is born, but wanting some ideas of what i can add to it ?
We expecting our second. I was going to have DS and LO exchange gifts at the hospital. I was going to do a small basket for DS. A book, coloring book, crayons, bubbles, and a few other small items. Before LO is born we'll take DS shopping so he can pick out a gift. I think it's a great idea so DS does not feel left out right when LO is born.
I like the little lego idea i will see what else I can find iv been trying to find big brother shirts but no luck so far
My son got this book when I was pregnant he loved it, still reads it now even though his little brother is 6 months old. We also got a little pack of hot wheels cars to put in the hospital bag as a gift to him from the baby when he came to visit. He was 2.5 when his brother was born.
I’m pregnant with my second so I’ve been thinking about the same thing. My daughter will only be 2 1/2. I was thinking a new baby doll for her to take care of while mommy has the new baby. What about an activity your son can do while your attention is taken up with the baby? Legos, play doh, color book?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
Religion Conspiracy/Theory
**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...
Look on amazon. I got big/little brother matching shirts there and then he’ll get a remote control car and a little people construction set. My mom will give him the big toy at home. Just cool new toys he’s into to keep him busy while we’re at the hospital and he’s playing with the grandparents. He’s 2 1/2 and I’ve only left him 2 nights before with my husband. I think I’m more nervous about leaving him then the actually labor of new baby.
